Why Baby Proofing is Important?

Nothing in the world is more important than the safety of our children. And yet their safety is something we often take for granted. When we send our children to playschools and daycares, we assume that they will be safe there. But children being children, will experiment and test their limits. For example, they may pick up foreign objects and put them in the mouth. Thus, it is important that school managers and staff are trained to prevent common accidents. It is also important that the premises are audited periodically by an external agency to ensure that it is baby-proofed and safe for children.

Similarly, when new parents bring a baby home, they already have a lot on their mind. New parents can benefit enormously if they have their home baby-proofed professionally. Working mothers can be more productive if they are assured that their child is playing in a safe & baby-proofed environment.

To prevent our children from getting hurt Safe Baby has researched this subject extensively.  As baby proofing expert, over the last few years we have audited numerous schools, daycares, and homes. Our research revealed that if we take some basic precautions and prepare for some emergencies, then our children will be considerably safer.

We also learnt that children need to be children. Nature has deliberately made them curious and adventurous. Children love exploring new things, playing with them and constantly testing their own limits. This is nature’s way of teaching them about our world. In the words of children’s psychologist Jean Piaget, “Play is the work of childhood”. We want children to play more and explore more.
